Once your donation is received and your payment is processed, you will receive an email order confirmation with an encrypted link that authorizes you to our engraving partner Fund Raisers, Ltd. There you will proceed to their online form to redeem your tile(s) and create your personal inscription that will be engraved on each legacy tile.

They will need your authorization code if you wish to redeem your tile over the phone. This can be found on the first page that launches when you click on the link that was emailed to you or you can call the Cal Athletic Development Office at (510) 642-2427.

Fund Raisers, Ltd. is a U.S. based company that has been engraving bricks, tiles, granite, glass and other custom materials for over 25 years. They are a preferred engraver of many professional sports teams from NFL to MLB teams along with other colleges and universities plus numerous 501(c)3 entities.

Acceptable inscriptions can include your first and last name or a family name. The word "family" may be used and any prefixes or suffixes (e.g., Mr., Mrs., Dr., III, Jr., Sr.); Actual Degree(s) from UC Berkeley (e.g., PH.D., M.B.A, B.A.); Majors may be listed or abbreviated to fit (e.g., Chemistry, Chem); Graduation year(s) (e.g., 1995, '95, Class of '95); Sports affiliation (e.g., W.Hockey, Men's Crew, Football); "In honor of" or "In memory of" (to pay tribute to someone special); Slogans such as "Go Bears!", "Fiat Lux", "Go Cal", and "True Blue" will be accepted; Sorority and Fraternity names will be accepted.

Unacceptable inscriptions will be any Greek symbols as these are considered a logo; Slogans that are inconsistent with the spirit of Cal; Business titles (e.g., C.P.A.) or any business advertising; Phone numbers; Email addresses; Web addresses; Political statements; Inappropriate language and any discriminatory remarks about race, gender or sexual orientation. The University of California, Berkeley reserves the absolute right to refuse any inscriptions they deem inappropriate or that does not meet the customary guidelines set forth.

Cal Athletic Department will review all submissions and reserves the right to refuse any messages they deem as inappropriate.

No; special letters, fonts or symbols not found on a standard keyboard or that require an "Alt + code" are not permitted.

Yes; you will receive an Inscription Verification Letter within 3-4 weeks of your order being processed asking you to verify that your personal message is correct prior to engraving. You will then have 10 days from the date of the letter (less for last minute orders) to make any changes. A $10 change fee may apply depending on changes.

Proceeds support Cal Athletics general operating expenses for people, programs and facilities celebrated through the reopening of the Cal Memorial Stadium in 2012 on the Berkeley campus.

Quantities are limited and will sell out on a first come, first serve basis for the "Bear Territory Legacy Wall".
